Sharing contexts generates relationships, bonds between people. Classmates become friends who then become couples, just like coworkers or neighbors. The things we share define the nature of our bond. We were built to bond.
Yet responsibilities, obligations, assumptions, projections and guilt are created through the process of bonding; and eventually kill their creator. We were made to be on our own.
However, there is a special kind of bond that kind overcome this fate. Such are the bonds that are born out of will, with a strength that goes beyond what simply fate and circumstances can provide. They transcend inertia and stand true to the feelings that created them. We are not meant to be alone.
